How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and to meet our legal, tax, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations.

Order, transaction, payment, refund and accounting records: normally retained for 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year.

Customer service, returns, complaints, claims, correspondence and related photographs: retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the matter and, where appropriate, for up to 6 years where the information may be required to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

Marketing information and consent records: kept while you remain subscribed to marketing. If you unsubscribe or object to marketing, we may retain limited information on a suppression list for as long as necessary to make sure we respect your preference and do not contact you for marketing again.

Website, cookie and analytics information: retained only for the periods necessary for the relevant service and in accordance with the settings described in our cookie information.

Fraud-prevention and security information: retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to prevent or investigate fraud, protect our business or comply with legal obligations.

We periodically review the information we hold and securely delete or anonymise personal information when we no longer need it.

This data processor does the following activities for us: Shopify provides the ecommerce platform used to operate the KENTON online store. It processes personal information on our behalf to host and operate the website, manage customer orders and checkout, maintain store and transaction records, provide security and fraud-prevention services, and support the technical operation of the store.
